About
Hsiang-Sheng Teng, also known as Shawn, is a London-based interdisciplinary artist and researcher from Taiwan.
His boundary-defying works – including magic, theatre, photography, installation, documentary, and audiovisual art – are driven by two artistic inquiries: reimagining different lifeways and rendering the impossible tangible.
He is also a member of The Magic Circle, the world’s most prestigious magic organisation.
He graduated from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, with a BA in anthropology and magic. He is studying an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London.
